The City Architect at the time was Alexander Steele. We do not know the extent of his personal involvent with the design of Silverknowes Primary.
This school has been demolished and houses built on the site, following a re-organisation of school catchment areas. Pupils from the Silverknowes area now attend Davidson's Mains Primary School.
