Craigroyston Community High (old school)

This school was newly built, initially in 1960.
Former pupils include
Gordon Strachan OBE
, footballer, and former manager of Celtic FC (resigned May 2009).
A new school was built for the City of Edinburgh Council, on a site further north on Pennywell Road.
This building was badly damaged by fire on 22 July 2010 and was demolished during the following weeks.
