Royal High School
This school has a long history and is said to be Edinburgh's oldest school, dating back to at least 1128. It was located first at High School Yards, in the Old Town in Edinburgh, and for many years at Regent Road Edinburgh. The school moved to the present building in 1968. Many uses have been proposed for the Regent Road building, including the Scottish Parliament, a museum of photograph, and most recently (2010) a hotel.
